Reflection:
This assignment has been a valuable journey in strengthening both my creative and technical skills. It began with the creation of a physical collage, which was a new and engaging experience for me. Applying the composition techniques introduced during lectures in a hands-on, tangible way allowed me to better understand visual balance, layering, and spatial arrangement. Working manually with different materials gave me insight into how each element interacts within a composition, and this foundational knowledge became essential as I transitioned to digital work.

Building upon that experience, I then applied the techniques taught during practical sessions to create a digital collage using Adobe Photoshop. Through this process, I learned how to work with various tools such as layering, masking, blending, and image adjustment. These techniques enabled me to experiment freely with visual elements and express my creativity in a more dynamic and cohesive way. It was especially rewarding to see how the skills I developed from the physical collage translated into the digital medium, giving me greater control and flexibility in expressing my ideas.

In addition, I was introduced to more advanced image adjustment techniques, including seamlessly integrating new objects into different environments by matching color tones, and recoloring black and white images. These exercises sharpened my attention to detail and emphasized the importance of precision in digital refinement. Tools like clip masking became particularly useful, allowing for non-destructive editing and more polished results.

Overall, this assignment deepened my understanding of composition, improved my proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, and taught me how traditional and digital methods can complement each other in the design process. It has boosted my confidence in creating meaningful visuals and prepared me well for future creative challenges.
