REFLECTION

Experience
Compared to typography module we took during last semester; advanced typography focused more on discovering and creating our own designs, more like working as a designer than a student. Throughout the whole 14 weeks, I've experienced a tighter working schedule since we are required to receive feedback consistently every week to ensure work quality, and the feedbacks given was indeed useful and helped a lot throughout the design process. Since Mr.Vinod gave feedback publicly, so we're able to gain better design knowledges.

Observation
While working on the tasks, the importance of observation and researching has again been emphasized. By paying attention on others' work, especially on the real-life examples, we're able to gain better design knowledges and apply it to our own designs.

Findings
We always have to spend time to create a good design, since multiples of reflections and observations has to be made. Every time I come back to the design, I am able to gain new opinions in different perspectives. We have to think in different perspectives to create a good design, not only in a designer's perspectives, but also in a reader's perspectives, since designs are about to communicate and deliver messages. Therefore, we need to think before designing, whether what messages we're about to deliver so that the design is rich, then how should we deliver the messages to the reader?
