WORK PROCESS
After grouping, our group held a meeting discussing on topics that we're
interested to propose. Below is the outcome of the meeting.
Figure 3.1 Meeting outcome (Week 2 4/2/2026)
Before our first consultation, we decided to refine the proposal draft for
better clarification and widen our idea choices. Below is the outcome of
refined draft.
Figure 3.2 Refined proposal draft (Week 3 9/2/2026)
After the first consultation, Mr. Fitri suggested that we can work on
- Integrated Tactile Wayfinding System (Idea 2)
- Virtual Public Transportation Card (Idea 1)
- Shaded Sitting Areas in Titiwangsa Park (Idea 5)
We were divided into 2 in a group to work on the proposal. Me and Jia Xuan
worked on "Shaded Sitting Areas in Titiwangsa Park". We started our work by
doing research and gathering evidence to justify the problems. After
identifying the problems, we proceed on the solutions, which how should a
sunshade be designed to align with our design purpose. Below are the
evidence and sources gathered.

PROPOSAL SLIDES
Three of our proposals are then combined.

REFLECTION
This assignment is built on extensive research. Fortunately, completing the Design Research Methodology module last semester provided me with a strong research foundation, allowing me to carry out this task with confidence instead of feeling lost. After receiving the project brief, I realized that good design requires careful consideration of many factors. Even a small feature within a street goes through multiple processes before it is finalized. Understanding people’s needs is therefore one of the most important responsibilities of a designer.
As this is a group assignment, communication plays a crucial role throughout the process. I am grateful that all my group members are open and actively involved in discussions. With continuous feedback and mutual support, we were able to refine our ideas repeatedly and work towards achieving the desired outcome.
FEEDBACK
Week 2: Mr. Fitri approved the idea 1,2 and 5
Week 3: Mr. Fitri suggests that the "urban mobility" should be interpreted in "designing urban future", other than that the proposal is fine.
