Reflection:
Throughout this assignment, I gained a wide range of skills and insights through both the tutorial and practical sessions. One of the key exercises that stood out was the double exposure tutorial. By following the step-by-step guide, I developed a deeper understanding of how to blend layers effectively to create visually engaging compositions. A particularly valuable technique I learned was the use of clipping masks, which allowed for non-destructive editing—making it easy to erase and recover parts of an object as needed. This skill not only enhanced the quality of my double exposure piece but also became incredibly useful in other parts of my design workflow.

As the assignment progressed, I began working on my poster development. I started by researching and browsing through various artworks for inspiration. This helped me define the core message I wanted to convey in my own poster. Once again, I was reminded of the importance of research in the creative process. It provided direction and clarity, guiding me to make more informed and meaningful design decisions.

Following the research phase, I moved on to sketching. I began with hand-drawn sketches to explore layout possibilities, then transitioned into digital sketching. In this stage, I positioned the main elements—specifically the cat and the bullet train—while experimenting with composition and spatial arrangement. Creating a clear structure early on helped lay the foundation for the final outcome.

In the later phase of the assignment, I started to further develop and refine the poster using techniques taught in previous tutorials. This included applying what I had learned about layering, blending, and visual balance. The process also served as a recap of earlier lessons, allowing me to apply my knowledge in a practical context. I gradually added more design elements to enhance the overall composition, making the poster feel more complete and visually cohesive.

Overall, this assignment has been a valuable learning experience. It allowed me to strengthen my technical abilities, sharpen my creative thinking, and understand how each stage of the design process contributes to the final result.
