Lecture:
We're explained with the basics of composition in design. It highlights the importance of having a clear focal point to attract attention, using size and position to show importance, and keeping balance by thinking about how "heavy" each part of the design feels. White space (empty areas) helps make designs clearer and less crowded. The lecture also introduces the Rule of Thirds and Golden Ratio—tools to help create more natural and pleasing layouts. Lastly, it covers framing and cropping to better control what the viewer focuses on.

Tutorial & Practical:
We did 3 different compositions of collages.
Design 1:
Design 2 :

Design 3:

With Mr Fauzi guidance, the third design is chosen as the final composition.

Reflection
Creating a physical collage this week was a new and engaging experience. It allowed me to apply the composition techniques introduced during the lectures in a hands-on, tangible way. Working manually with different materials gave me a better understanding of visual balance, layering, and spatial arrangement. This practical experience not only strengthened my grasp of collage-making but also prepared me for upcoming projects involving digital collages. By starting with a physical medium, I was able to build a stronger foundation that will help guide my design decisions in a digital context.
